PEL MISSION
Helping small businesses succeed is critical to the fabric of who we are as a nation. Being in a position to share our experiences as a small business, both the good and the bad, enables us to help other up-and-coming small businesses succeed in an ever changing and challenging marketing and human environment. Giving another business confidence in knowing that they can be competitive in online marketing is something we have learned and desire to share. Having access to individuals with knowledge and experience in related fields is a major plus for any business. This is particularly true for a small business. Development of a group of experts in a wide range of disciplines and providing other businesses the ability to tap into this vast human knowledge base is our goal and our mission. We believe this is a priceless benefit that we offer. We have expertise in engineering, data science, online marketing, accounting and counseling. This combination of education, experience and expertise has a proven track record of helping businesses and individuals become successful. Our goal is to share our knowledge and experience with a broad range of businesses and individuals and hope to learn ourselves from others in the process. We know that nothing is learned faster and more thoroughly than through the act of teaching and sharing. Our experiences have been gained over decades of exposure to success and failure and these lessons, although sometimes difficult to experience, are the key to future successes. Helping another business learn these lessons without experiencing all the pain is what we stand for.
PEL is derived from Aristotle's Three Artistic Modes of Persuasion. Namely Pathos, Ethos and Logos. The essence of these three modes are better known today as Passion, Ethics and Logic. PEL represents these elements of behavior in our Passionate, Ethical and Logical approach to our clients and their marketing needs.
PASSIONATE
Passion (from the Greek verb πασχω) is a very strong feeling of enthusiasm and excitement for something or about doing something.
To be PASSIONATE is to have, show and express strong emotions and beliefs in all that you do.
PATHOS
In Aristotle's Rhetoric, he identifies three artistic modes of persuasion, one of which was awakening emotion (Pathos) so as to induce a desired judgment through an essential mode of proof.
ETHICAL
Ethics (from the Ancient Greek word ἠθικόςethikos) involves defending and recommending concepts of right and wrong conduct.
To be ETHICAL is to deal with morals and the principles of morality pertaining to right and wrong.
ETHOS
Ethos is a Greek word meaning "character" that is used to describe the guiding beliefs and ideals that characterize a community, nation, or ideology. Ethos conveys character and credibility.
LOGICAL
Logic (from the Ancient Greek: λογική) is concerned with the use and study of valid inductive reasoning, abductive reasoning and deductive reasoning.
To be LOGICAL is to be sensible and reasonable characterized by clear, sound reasoning.
LOGOS
Logos is an important term in western philosophy, psychology, rhetoric, and religion. Beginning with Heraclitus (ca. 535–475 BC), logos came to represent a principle of order and knowledge.
